Naomi's Nightmares of Nature

Naomi Wilkinson is searching the Bahamas for real-life sea monsters. She dives into the deep with hungry hammerhead sharks, who are able to sense her fear, tracks down a group of mystery monsters who've become dependent on people for food, ventures into the twisted mangroves with a group of local children to hand-feed lemon sharks, and then reveals the dark side to one of our best-loved animals - the dolphin.

In the Kalahari desert, Naomi gets caught in a mighty electrical storm whilst trying to track down the elusive, armoured and acid-squirting pangolin. Naomi thinks she's in for a treat when she joins a mob of meerkats but gets a nasty surprise and joins a group of local children for the ultimate running race - with a cheetah.

Naomi goes on a tour of our homes to reveal the nightmares of nature we share them with. She teams up with some courageous kids to see if there's a nice side to the dreaded head lice, reveals the beastly habits of Britain's best-loved bug, and challenges fellow presenter Ed Petrie to hold the UK's biggest house spider.

She braves the jaws of some reckless reptiles snapping at the heels of Rio's residents, catches a jungle joker committing an act of urban vandalism, strikes out in search of the world's largest rodent and launches herself off one of Rio's highest peaks to referee a deadly stand-off between bird and plane.
