In the Spanish mountains, Jørgen and Nikolaj have tightly laced up their hiking boots. The red-legged partridge is the target – a small, shy fellow, quicker than both the eye and the trigger. The hunt demands countless steps up and down steep trails, and the legs grow heavy fast. But that’s nothing compared to the real challenge: actually hitting the bird. Because if they miss the shot, it’s not a delicious partridge dish on the menu, but a serving of slippery, slimy sea snails.

The adventure continues in the Spanish mountains, where Jørgen and Nikolaj are on the hunt for the elusive mouflon. The hunt demands patience, long hikes, and a sharp eye, as the mouflon keeps its distance. Along the way, the two friends try to embrace the relaxed Spanish lifestyle with long breaks and an easy pace — but it soon turns out to be harder than they think. And if the hunt doesn’t succeed, they’ll be served tripe, which is definitely not something they’re looking forward to.

Jørgen and Nikolaj have gone to Horsens to help regulate the city's naughty seagulls, which scream from morning to evening and steal food from the local Horsensians. To get up close and personal with their prey, they also try to live like a seagull — from the quay to the rooftops of the city. But the seagull life is not for the faint-hearted, and if the mission fails, they’ll have to sink their teeth into a chicken with blue meat.

Somewhere around the middle of Denmark lies Sprogø – and here, Jørgen and Nikolaj cast their lines together for the very last time. Their dream is to bring home a sea trout. But this trip is something quite special: it’s Jørgen’s final hunt with Nikolaj. They share the silence, the wind, and memories from their years together – and, of course, make sure to keep their throats moist with a cold beer or two. But the sea trout is fickle, and if it doesn’t show up, the journey ends with mysterious leftovers from the depths of a shady freezer.
