Ice cold

Mariell dreams of running the Finnmarksløpet because she loves dogs, but has never run a race before. Ole gets ready to defend last year's victory, but fears newcomer Espen. Everyone has to exercise, but there are only 12 weeks left to start.

9 weeks until Finnmarksløpet starts. Espen is going out for a ride, but he gets an ice cold lesson in 35 minus degrees. The stress increases for Mariell since she is not trained with dogs and she argues with her mother. Ole Henrik is stated when he sees what kind of condition his dog sled is in.

6 weeks to Finnmarksløpet. Mariell will have to run a dog race to qualify for the Finnmarksløpet, but a winter storm is on its way. Espen is stressed out for his own qualifying run, and his father has to undergo because he is packing the dog socks incorrectly. Ole Henrik gets a number of tasks at home, but plays the playstation.

Ole Henrik gets a powerful wake-up call when he realizes that the dogs will not listen on command. Now he has to fight hard to make good contact with them. Mariell is ready for her first race ever, and she has to complete in order to participate in the Finnmarks Race.

Ole has not yet decided whether to take part in the Finnmarksløpet race, but May Conny demands that he make a choice. Mariell realizes that she may never run a dog again after the race.

220 icy kilometers are waiting for the participants. Now it is only a few hours until we see who has spent the last few months the best. Who can handle the cold, the responsibility, the dogs and the pressure of expectations? Just before the start, something fatal happens.
