Blowin’ Up: Fatty Koo

Five young hopefuls pursuing their dream to become the next big thing in music are selected by DAS Management (Wyclef and Black Eyed Peas) to record an album. The group’s hard work pays off and they’re signed to a recording contract with Sony Records. It’s a dream come true for the upcoming musicians, but the road to fame is a tough one and now it’s time to pay the dues.

The group awaits word from Das Management; Marya must make a major decision; Eddie B is asked to improve his voice.

Fatty Koo is booked to perform at the Mac World conference; Eddie is targeted for replacement.

Members of the group break the news to their families that they are moving to New York; a stylist works out a new look for the band.

Fatty Koo moves into their new house and meets their vocal coach; new member Miguel causes tempers to flare.

New choreographer Tanisha is introduced; Eddie is upset that management does not believe in him; new member Josh arrives at the house.

Fatty Koo prepares for their publicity photo shoot.

Fatty Koo listens to their first remixed single and members give it mixed reviews.

Eddie B's new hairstyle does not turn out as well as he expected; Ron checks out the "Bounce" ladies; Valure selects her leading man.

DAS feels that they are finally ready to meet the press. Another argument flares up but with Marya. The media comes to the house to listen to the album and have a tour of the house. The experience wasn't as dramatic as Fatty Koo thought it would be and now they are ready to tackle the next obstacle.

DAS feels the group is ready to get on the road and he sets them up with a booking agency. The Black Eyed Peas come visit and give them some advice. They rock the crowd at their first show and get chance to open for BEP. Now the real work begins as the stakes get even higher.

All the hard work has finally paid off for Fatty Koo. They go to Miami and Gabrielle and Josh get a little closer. Ant begins to worry as gossip circulates that they are an item. Ron and Eddie B go out clubbin all night.

The first-season finale. Fatty Koo returns to Ohio to play a benefit concert for CAPA (the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts).
