For three years, I have watched the Russia-Ukraine war from afar. But, now I was back to investigate how life was progressing in the country after 1000 days of war. In a forest on the edge of a small town in Ukraine stands a mysterious museum housed in an ancient blue church. So enigmatic is it that nobody has actually managed to enter it and see what exactly is inside. The museum is known by aficionados of weird and wonderful things simply as 'The Space Church'. Well, now I was back to see how the residents were coping during the constant drone attacks and bombardments. On the Caspian Sea, between Azrbaijan and Kazakhstan there exists a ferry service that has nothing but atrocious reviews online. Well, I decided to go and investigate this Soviet ferry route and find out how bad it really is...or not. Join me as we set sail on the most Soviet sea of all for Central Asia... After visiting India last year, I vowed I would never return. The pollution and frustrations of travel were too much for me to take. However, I had been told that the North East of India was completely different. Therefore, I headed up towards mysterious Assam to see for myself how life was progressing there. This journey reminded me once again that India is a polluted country, but filled with the nicest and funniest people who will go out of their way to help you. Jai Bhole Ki! I continued my trip across West Bengal travelling like the poorest of locals on the infamous 'general class' compartment of the railway network. It was at times horrifying and at times enlightening. Good people. Terrible conditions. And the question I ask you is 'are you mental enough to visit India?' Because you have to be mental to visit.
