He rolls down a hill in a giant, inflatable hamster ball, traverses the daunting class-4 rapids of the Pigeon River on a custom cataraft and tosses razor-sharp axes at a target 30 feet away. It's safe to say this isn't your average day in the country.

For Kevin, perspective really is everything, and he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty in search of new adventures. He comes to the Big Island of Hawaii on a mission: to attempt an epic 40-foot cliff dive -- head first -- into the Pacific Ocean. He'll train with a world-champion cliff diver, but will he be able to set aside his fear and make the leap? Along the way, he skateboards on lava, hits the beach for some surfing, zip lines 300 feet above the jungle and shreds the ATV trails on Hawaii's tallest mountain, Mauna Kea, with his one-of-a-kind motorized mountain board.

Kevin Michael Connolly heads to Fort Benning, GA, to see what it takes to become an Army Ranger. The regimen is tough, especially without legs, but Kevin is up for the challenge. He embarks on one of the most grueling weeks of his life, pushing himself to physical extremes in a quest to be all he can be. Along the way, he conquers his fear of heights by traversing the historic obstacle course. Plus, he completes water survival training and learns to skydive.

Adrenaline junkie Kevin Michael Connolly will take on just about anything, including some of the world's most skilled jousters at the Order of Epona Festival in Fort Collins, CO. But first, he has to build a custom saddle, learn how to handle a 500-pound horse and wield a 9-foot lance while wearing a full suit of armor. Not the easiest task for a legless guy. To practice, Kevin rides a mechanical bull, trains with jousting coach Patrick Lambke and learns the way to become a knight in a LARP (Live Action Role Playing) competition. His competitive side comes out in spades as he refuses to accept defeat.

Kevin Michael Connolly heads to LA to trade in his signature skateboard for a sleek downhill racer known as a street luge. But before he's ready to bomb down a desert highway at 55 miles per hour, he teams up with a Hollywood stuntman to build some new custom rigs.

Kevin Michael Connolly has always dreamed of going into space, so he heads to the Johnson Space Center in Houston to see what it would take to be NASA's first legless astronaut. He takes on a rigorous, Navy Seal-style swim test, drives a lunar rover and samples space food. Then, he attempts the tricky art of spacewalking without legs with a device that frees him from gravity. His training culminates in a literally hair-raising zero-gravity flight aboard a special jet, the nearest we can come on Earth to experiencing the weightlessness of space.
