When the mighty fall, an army descends to devour what others leave behind for they too must nurture their precious families. They are The Clean Up Crew of Africa.

Their ancestors were the first vertebrates to colonize dry land, and they inhabit every continent except Antarctica, but their world is rapidly changing. Twenty species call this city home but what were once wetlands are now playgrounds and golf courses.

The story of the elephant is explored, featuring a look at dedicated elephant conservation reserves and how elephants are increasing in numbers after a reduction due to hunting.

African wild dogs and dwarf mongooses are spotlighted.

Wildlife is shown in a series of complex relationships, including ones that are one-sided, mutually beneficial, and tight-knit partnerships.

The Nile crocodile and Hippopotamus are two of Africa’s amphibious freshwater icons; found in waterways, rivers and lakes across the continent, including the stunning wilderness of Kwa-Zulu Natal in South Africa. These two species have co-existed for thousands of years, evolving in different ways to a life aquatic.
