The Suspended Garden of Babylon, introduces the characters and shows how they become friends. The title of the episode refers to the name that Tatiana gives to the balcony of the apartment, full of plants. At first, she shared the place with her boyfriend, Joel (Eduardo Tornaghi), a cultured and charismatic boy, considered a kind of guru by his friends. To everyone's surprise, he suffers a psychotic outbreak and ends up in an insane asylum. It is implied that the trigger of the outbreak would have been the use of drugs, a way of discussing chemical dependence in the series.

Tatiana is confused when Bel (Bia Nunes), her younger sister, decides to follow her example and leave the house. The dancer supports her sister, but fears for her future. Susana also finds herself in a delicate situation when her boyfriend, Julius (Milton Moraes), demands that she leave her friends to travel with him to the Xingu.

Helinho and Tatiana decide to bet on their dreams. The musician is about to get a chance to record an album while she gets the opportunity to sign the choreography of a theater show.

The violence was the theme of Because Today is Saturday, the fourth episode of Ciranda Cirandinha. Due to a misunderstanding, Tatiana is accused of stealing. Helinho tries to defend her friend, and the two end up in jail. Meanwhile, Reinaldo has to deal with his cousins Tavito (Anselmo Vasconcellos) and Lídia (Lídia Brondi), in conflict with their parents because of their misbehaving and inconsequential behavior.

An ex-girlfriend of Helinho, Tetê (Louise Cardoso), appears with a baby, fruit of the recent relationship between them. Until she gets settled in Rio de Janeiro, the girl has no alternative and leaves the baby with the musician. Tatiana, Susana and Reinaldo strive to help their friend face this new phase. At the end of this episode, Helinho plays for his friends the song Father, written by Fábio Jr. himself, moving everyone.
