is busy at Det Gyldne Teater. Sara is rehearsing for the lead role of Sleeping Beauty in this year's Christmas performance, while her twin sister Anna is the prompter. Sara doesn't understand that her co-star Janus kisses so badly on stage. The girls' mother Rikke, who is a theater manager, and her right-hand man Philip struggle to make the technique work. And Sara is drawn by the deep water under the bridge. Something adventurous is at stake.

Sara has a crush on Janus, and after they manage to kiss properly on stage, she's sure he's got a crush on her too. She and Anna go to the ice rink, where she wants to score Janus. Meanwhile, there is trouble in the Other World. The evil Queen asks her mirror who is the most beautiful in this country, and does not get the answer she expects.

Sara hopes to date Janus, even though the trip to the ice rink was a failure. When Janus says that he does not share her feelings, the performance of the play is jeopardized. Rikke tries to calm down the theatre's sponsor Søren, while Sara desperately seeks refuge on the bridge. Anna does everything to help Sara, and in the depths calls the Other World.

Sara has arrived at the hospital with Anna's help and can't seem to wake up. Meanwhile, she walks brightly in the Other World, where she meets Little Red Riding Hood and is pursued by a hunter. In the forest, she comes across the dwarves' house, and the dwarves receive a distinguished visit. At the theatre, the sponsor Søren wants his daughter Camilla to take over Sara's role.

Anna wants Sara to understand that the trip to the Other World was a dream. But Sara, who has found two pine needles in her hair from her flight, wants to meet the Prince and the dwarfs again. Having promised Anna not to jump off the bridge, she looks for another way to access the adventure. Meanwhile, Camilla does her best to play Sleeping Beauty in the Christmas performance.

Sara loves being back with the dwarves in the Other World, while Anna is tasked with waking her up. The evil Queen is looking forward to her feast, which the hunter brings. But has the hunter tricked her? Rikke wants Sara back on stage. Sara just hopes to meet the Prince again.

Sara has agreed to play again, but she can't take the play seriously now that she knows what it's like in the Other World. Anna instructs Sara in what to watch out for in the Snow White adventure. Alone in the dwarves' house, Sara is visited by a little boy. And at the theater the audience comes.

Anna is going to give Sara a dangerous idea on how to score the prince. Søren is shocked by Sara's behavior on stage the day before and is considering closing the theatre. At the dwarves, Sara meets an old woman with an apple. And Rikke asks Anna about something important that might save the show.

While Anna is challenged on stage and has to get up and float, Sara lands in the Other World and discovers that she is playing the lead role in a new adventure. Two tough sisters order her to clean and fix their hair, but Sara hasn't lost hope of meeting the Prince. Maybe she's closer than before!

Anna and Janus practice the floating scene and get closer to each other. Sara dreams of going to the ball at the Prince's castle and gets help from a wishing tree, but the two stepsisters find out and hatch an evil plan. Anna promises Sara to keep her fingers off Janus. And Janus is approached by his girlfriend Emma.

Sara has to help out at the theatre, but she is short on time. She has to make it to the Prince's ball in the Other World, and the Butler does not like guests who arrive late. Janus is embarrassed to have kissed Anna. But soon he has something else to think about, because Philip also wants him to float. Anna is reminded of her stage fright by Camilla.

The prince decides to find the girl he danced with at the ball and sets off into the kingdom with the girl's shoes. The two evil sisters are sure he will choose one of them, but just in case, they lock Sara up. There is a premiere at the theatre, and Anna must now show what she can do, while sponsor Søren looks forward to seeing the play like a child.

Anna is praised for her performance at the premiere. But Søren is furious because Rikke dropped the goblins in the play, and wants to close the theatre. In the Other World, Sara is to marry the Prince and is looking forward to saying 'yes', while Anna and Janus try to figure out whether they should be lovers or not.

Sara was interrupted at her wedding, and now the Prince runs into the forest to look for her. Søren takes over the direction of the goblin scene, and Rikke finds herself in it to save the theatre. Anna overhears a confidential conversation between Janus and Emma, and Sara tries to find the Prince in the forest. But the forest is full of dangers.

Sara wants to find out how she can rescue the Prince from the mysterious house in the Other World. Anna keeps it a secret that she and Janus have become lovers, and lies to Sara. Rikke is unable to stop Søren and his gnome series, but becomes proud when a film director wants to cast some of the young people from the theatre.

After the shock in the Witch's house, Sara has promised herself and Anna that she will never go to the Other World again. Now she wants to go back to the theatre. Søren has rewritten the entire play, and Rikke and Philip must do something. Anna and Janus are looking forward to going to the casting, while Sara still hasn't found out that the two have become lovers.

Sara desperately tries to get the Prince out of his cake tin before the Witch comes to get them. At the theatre, Rikke and Philip have regained control of the play, and Søren is looking forward to the premiere. Anna is upset that things have gone so wrong between her and Sara. The relationship with Janus also creaks.

Sara has been reunited with the Prince and has moved into his golden castle. Her future looks bright and happy. But in our world, she is in the hospital, and neither Anna, Rikke nor the doctors can wake her up. Søren makes some tough decisions about the future of the theatre, and Anna asks Pede for help in helping Sara home.

Anna has now met the dwarves in the Other World. The manager Heinz has his secrets and rejects her. But Otto wants to help. Meanwhile, Sara is shown around the castle by the Prince and enters the labyrinth. The mood in the theater is sad. Janus helps Philip pack it all up.

The prince enjoys being with Sara in the castle, while Sara is afraid of never getting out of there. Together with Pede, Anna looks at old texts online. Maybe they can figure out how to get Sara out of the castle. At the hospital, Rikke and the doctors become more and more worried about Sara's condition.

Anna and Sara flee through the forest on the run from the Prince. But something strange happens to Sara. She remembers less and less about her life. It is clear to Anna that she must get Sara to the dwarves' house as quickly as possible. But the dwarves lack the tool that can help Sara return to our world.

Sara is back, but is upset to hear about the theater closing. She suggests they do a farewell performance, even though the sets and costumes are gone. Anna and Rikke are on board with the idea. Meanwhile, the Other World announces its arrival. A little girl with a red hood has found one of Otto's crystals.

Otto has been given a role in the play, and Sara works hard to direct him, Anna and all the others in the farewell performance. But another visitor has arrived from the Other World. A guest who demands his right. Soon the wild hunt goes on in the theatre's corridors. It becomes a life and death fight. And Janus will need his fencing skills.

There is joy and a Christmas atmosphere at Det Gyldne Teater. Finally, Sara, Anna, Janus, Otto and all the others can perform their performance for the audience. Even Søren is happy. Rikke is proud of the young people, and Philip is preparing a surprise at the end of the play. But a special bystander intervenes loudly from his seat and forces Sara to act.
