Alex R. Hibbert (born July 4, 2004 in New York City , New York ) is an American child actor. His first film role was Hibbert, who had previously worked only in a theater project of his school [1] , in Moonlight by Barry Jenkins . In the first third of the film, at the age of 12, he plays the main character Chiron.
