Aboriginal boxer 'Flash' Johnny Miles, training for a championship fight, becomes jealous of his sparring partner's friendship with his wife. In the ring Johnny hits him so hard that he appears to have died as a result. Det. Patterson is planted undercover as the new sparring partner, and police uncover a plan to 'throw' the fight.
