Barkindji woman, Nici captuers the images of the landscape and stagnant rivers and remains of tree stumps which symbolize a transition between life and death, Nici confronts issues of sustainability in a modern society and how this impacts a culture and people who were the custodians of these sacred places for thousands of years.
