It is Millie and Lauren's first Christmas since the separation, and for Millie it is the chance for a fresh start - for once, a Christmas without family arguments. She persuades everyone to leave their past Christmases behind, and invents new traditions for the family. Some people struggle with it - especially Lauren, who wants everything to be like it was.
