Prefkar gets a cold shoulder from Joe due to the earlier courier cargo incident. Mikey arranges a few opportunities for Prefkar to co-pilot DC-3 cargo flights but weather threatens to halt the flight before plane even gets in the air. While one of Buffalo's DC-3 (C-FWZS) is rumoured to have participated in D-Day invasion, Mikey finally gets confirmation and military record from historian that it did participate by dropping paratroopers in Operation Tonga. Mikey decides to work with Royal Canadian Air Force to celebrate 70th anniversary of D-Day. He and Cory needs to prepare C-FWZS for an reenactment of paratropping and participate in the reenactment themselves. Working under a tight deadline, they need to search for parachuting parts that were removed from DC-3 many years ago. Mikey turns to online help while Cory searches for the parts stored inside the Red Deer maintenance hangar. At the same time, Mikey is trying to lose weight to avoid exceeding the maximum weight limit for tandem jump. Mikey and Cory finally find the crucial parachute jump part has always been inside the aircraft, covered by a canvas on the top of the cabin.
