The ED staff are kept on their toes, however, when the violence spills over into the hospital corridors. Meanwhile, a young woman injured at the pub is hiding something from her fiance, Ash struggles to cope under pressure and Dixie continues to grieve for Jeff. Rita's promotion is announced to the team, and Mac makes a decision about his career.
