Marcus is furious when finding Steffy going through his backpack until she explains why she did it. Marcus clarifies why he and Donna are keeping the secret and asks Steffy to keep it, as well. During a conversation with her sister, Katie voices her concern about why they haven’t heard from their mother, Beth, after all of the tragedies that the family has been through recently. Nick convinces Katie to call her mother. Katie is upset when she does not get the response from Beth that she was hoping. Nick tries his best to side-step Jackie’s inquisition about his feelings for Katie.
