Shocked and disgusted by Rick and Taylor’s kiss, Brooke physically tries to pull them apart and then slaps Taylor. After Brooke accuses Taylor of getting involved with Rick out of revenge, Rick assures his mother that what he and Taylor have is something special. Later, Rick professes his love to Taylor; emphasizing it with a kiss. When Katie grills Nick about his relationship with Bridget, he sets her straight by telling her that it is none of her business and that he needs time to think about a future with Bridget; what he’s really looking for is a challenge. Later, Katie overhears Bridget trying to get Nick to set her up with someone and quickly puts an end to it. Ashley and Ridge have a heart-to-heart conversation before she leaves for Genoa City.
