Brooke tells Nick that she is in love with him and Ridge but she made the decision months ago to spend her life with Ridge; she is going to stay with that decision. After kissing her again, Nick tells Brooke that he can see in her eyes how much she loves him and then asks if she wants him to crawl on his knees begging her to choose him. Brooke tells Nick “no” and asks him to understand her position and to let her go if he really loves her. Ridge and Stephanie both express their suspicions that Eric may still be seeing Donna on the sly which prompts Stephanie to count Eric’s “little blue pills.” Stephanie notices some pills missing which lead her to believe that Eric is lying to her; he is still having sex with Donna. Stephanie vows to catch them in the act. Eric and Donna spend a passionate and sticky Valentine’s Day together.
