With exclusive access to the Venezuelan police force's elite Anti-Kidnap Squad, the Unreported World team follow officers as they fight back against the kidnap gangs with a mixture of brute force and technical ingenuity. More than five people are kidnapped in Venezuela every day. The country is awash with illegal firearms, with a politicised and barely-functioning judicial system and prisons effectively run by the gangster inmates.
