It's the first night in a week-long culinary showdown and first up in the kitchen is graphic designer Rose Fillcoff. Joining her around the dinner table is fit and flirty Barbara Egarhos, door to door salesman James Currie, party girl Katie Pitt, and primped perfectionist Myron Simic.
After welcoming her competition to the dinner party everyone is seated and served not one, but two appetizers: goat cheese stuffed figs and apple, pear and fennel salad. Rose tries to impress her guests with the main: chicken and lamb skewers with cauliflower mash, green beans and tzatziki. Finally for dessert, Rose serves chocolate pots de crème.
