After a heated confrontation between Carolina and Salvador against Ramiro to discover their daughter's whereabouts, Salvador tells Carolina that she is no longer alone and that she shouldn't continue facing adversity alone. Feeling out of place because of Carolina, Manuel seeks comfort in Roberta's company and asks her to stay with him so they can spend the night together. Realizing that Romina can't get over the loss of her boyfriend, Carolina asks Salvador for help to regain her senses, unaware that Manuel will misinterpret her gesture. Carolina tries, once again, to convince Manuel that Ramiro is not who he claims to be and that, in reality, he is a bad person who hurt her deeply in the past. With this, Carolina hopes to gain some compassion from him for the actions he took against her.
