Sixteen-year-old Lilly-Marie and her boyfriend Pascal run away from the "Siebenschläfer" youth home at night. The next morning, Lilly's body is found in a nearby lake. Seventeen-year-old Pascal is on the run. Leonie Winkler and Peter Michael Schnabel begin their investigation and launch a search for Pascal. At first glance, "Siebenschläfer" appears to be a model institution. Under the direction of Saskia Rühe, it houses children and young people who have had difficult lives.
