When Pelluco and Rodolfo seal their reconciliation, Ignacio appears with a gun and shoots the twins. One of them falls to the ground wounded, and while everyone wonders who was really hit, the businessman reveals it was his brother. After a few hours, the doctor in charge tells the family that Pelluco is in quite serious condition, and Fernanda is the one who comes in to see him. She begins to talk to him just as he begins to lose consciousness and loses vital signs. A five-month time jump brings various news stories; some received the sentences they deserved, while others triumphed. A new restaurant opens in the Central Market, called "Los Gemelos." Rodolfo doesn't want to introduce it alone and is waiting for a big-name guest to do it with him.
