Upon learning of Leonel's nonexistent wedding night with Alba, Atocha mocks her brother. She also advises him on how to behave with his wife, but the landowner silences her. After a night of drinking, Camilo ends up drunk and hides behind the bar of his old bar. In the company of Sebastián's family, Leonel sees him and, after Alba's brother rebukes him, delivers painful blows. Now that he must forcibly move to the city, Sebastián and Covadonga meet at the church. There, Alba's grandmother asks him to put a plan into action to destroy their common enemy. Amid a huge celebration for Alba's arrival at the farm, Sebastián encourages her to dance a piece. From afar, Leonel watches in surprise and, unable to contain his anger, explodes in complaints.
