Óscar seeks to bring peace to Carolina and swears from the bottom of his heart that he will care for Andrés as if he were his own son. Moved by his words, she thanks him for the gesture and confesses that she will never regret falling in love with such a great man. Óscar categorically refuses to speak to the woman who claims to be Moisés's mother. However, Father Gabriel confronts him and warns him that he cannot continue running away from the situation, especially since she is willing to go to the city to rescue her son. Óscar assures Erika that Moisés is fine and that he protected him like a true father. But, in a firm voice, he makes it clear that he will not allow a reunion until the truth is proven with a DNA test. Erika arrives at Óscar's farm, unaware of what is about to happen. When she knocks on the door, it is not Óscar who appears, but Moisés, marking the beginning of an unexpected encounter.
