Doris doesn't want to spend a single minute away from Cárcamo, so she asks Father Gabriel to celebrate the Mass where they will pledge their eternal love. Doris is excited to throw her bouquet and see who will be Monteverde's next bride, so on the count of three, she throws it, and without realizing it, it falls into Sister Celeste's hands. Padilla confesses to Carolina that he spoke to Carlos, as he can't disappear overnight, as that would raise suspicions. She demands action and urges him not to forget their agreement.
