Eva and Néstor are determined to start a new life, but Franco, upon seeing them, assures them that their insolence knows no bounds and that it would be best if they left the city as traitors. Franco no longer wants to be separated from Lucía and surprises her with a marriage proposal; she rejects him and assures them that they need to heal before they can be together. Néstor surprises them by confessing that he has no feelings for his daughter Rosalía, as bonds are formed, and just because they share blood doesn't mean he must love her. Óscar is thrilled that Sister Celeste will be the first to see the school he promised to build in Monteverde.
