Franco fears that Lucía has rekindled her feelings for Rodrigo and asks her to be honest with him, but she makes it clear that she has no feelings for him. Néstor comforts Eva when he sees how sad she is about her son's trouble with Julieta. Franco arrives at Néstor's house and finds them about to kiss. Lucía thanks Rodrigo for his disappointment, as he helped her come to Monteverde and find the true love of her life, and then advises him to forget her.
