Father Gabriel doesn't hide his emotion and tells all the women in the boarding house that Lucía is expecting Franco's child. Distressed by the news, she corrects her father, assuring him that Julia is the baby's mother. Lucía surprises Franco by announcing that she's willing to stay with him now that he's become a father. After the argument with Rosalía, Julia decides to go to Franco's house and prove to him, with a pregnancy test, that she is indeed expecting his child.
