Mike was five years old when his father brought his little sister home from the hospital—holding her in one hand and a plush Snoopy in the other. For Mike, it was love at first sight, both for his new sibling and her stuffed toy. From that moment on, America’s favorite beagle became a permanent positive impact on Mike’s life. By the time he was 10, Mike had already acquired more than a dozen Snoopy collectibles. Today, his collection has grown to over 15,000 Snoopy items. He displays them all in a museum he built at his waterfront restaurant near Detroit. Snoopy has a way of bringing people together, and Mike is a perfect example of that special connection.
