When Ruth Miller retired from being a primary school teacher she didn’t want to do sewing and visit country houses. Instead, she created a punk rock band, The Verinos. She is part of a movement in the English city of Leicester, the Unglamorous Movement which aims to get more women into bands and performing on stage.
