Was the made-for-tv meeting of Donald Trump and Paul Ryan was anything more significant than a CNN count-down clock moment. Then a problem with the English language that we do not have a gender-neutral first person pronoun. “He” and “She” don’t do it. But “they” is gender-neutral.
