After receiving insults, the farmer manages to draw his gun. Furious at the obstacles Leonel is placing in his path to impede his work, Sebastián unexpectedly calls Covadonga. The doctor makes it clear he will join forces with her to destroy the farmer. Although they maintained a hateful rivalry, Atocha begins to see Amapola as a natural ally. The villain assures him that, with her help, Leonel and Alba's lives will be torment. After announcing his marriage to Alba, Leonel returns home to wallow in his grief. The farmer bids his son goodnight and can't help but remember his daughter when he sees his empty bed.
