Author Kathi (Jördis Triebel) is in the midst of a life crisis: a lack of orders, a separation and her daughter Lilly (Maja Bons) is annoyed. Without further ado, Kathi starts working as a pedicurist at Jenny's (Yvonne Yung Hee Bormann) and Lulu's (Deborah Kaufmann) “Beauty Oasis Marzahn”. There she has to treat her hated neighbor (Hermann Beyer), who refuses to let go of his GDR past.
