Mercedes begins to remember certain actions that Ulises had with Érika and confirms that Rosalba's daughter also has Contreras blood. Rosalba reveals to Érika that her real father was Ulises Contreras, however, he distanced himself from them so as not to recognize her as his daughter, as he doubted his paternity. Érika scolds Estrella for the fact that she has always had everything she wanted and, on top of that, has taken Fabián's love away from her. Estrella confesses to Fabián that Érika is her half-sister, but acknowledges that she didn't deserve to have grown up in such a dysfunctional environment just because her father didn't want to recognize her as his daughter.
