Mr. Yoon is aware that Tae-hyeon is going through some financial troubles and tries to help but Seo-gyeong stops him saying that Tae-hyeon wouldn’t want his help. Seo-gyeong agrees when her father orders her to get rid of the cottage in Yangpyeong, then she hands him her divorce papers and asks him to process it. Tae-hyeon goes to see his friend who works at a car wash and asks him for a job. While cleaning, Se-yeong discovers a steel box that Ms. Song had hidden. Ms. Song’s old diary and a letter she wrote to Gyeong-seon before she became senile are inside. Gyeong-seon cries as she reads that Ms. Song acted harsh toward her because she was afraid that Gyeong-seon might runaway due to her husband’s affairs. So-young meets with Tae-hee and talks about her doubts regarding Wu-ram’s parentage.
