Spotlight is a revealing look at the Catholic molestation scandal of 2002. This film had me floored. Whatever problems it has, they do not affect the narrative, and that narrative is surprising. I remember this scandal from when I was kid, but I had no idea how bad it really was, and this movie reveals it well.
