Fagundes asks Lindinalva in marriage, but she refuses. Ramiro presents Machadão with a ring and asks her to move with him to his cocoa farm. Fagundes fails to hit Mundinho and runs from Ilhéus policemen. Gabriela makes a difficult choice to save a friend.
