Max and his lawyer hope they found a loophole, but after an intervention from the attorney general Noordermeer looses the trial. Emma brings Iris to a Belgian private clinic for an expensive and life-threatening experimental facial skin transplant. Sofie and a nurse keep Marco informed, but security is impenetrable. Bas and Connie go ahead with their wedding although not all children can attend. When Marco gets word Iris is dying, they reschedule.
