Dr Spearings is first at the clinic today to treat Shane. The 36-year-old has an inflamed lump on her jaw and a painful lipoma on her buttocks, which is not covered by health insurance. The bump on her face is a big handicap for Shane: she's reluctant to leave the house to avoid being stared at. The next patient is Lorraine, who is also hoping for a quick solution to her problem: she has cysts on her head, one of them the size of a golf ball, and hasn't dared to go to the hairdresser for years. Patient number 3, a student nurse, has large moles on her face and body.
