Tatort Thiel & Boerne

Hinkebein (1x21)

Air date: Mar 11, 2012

Commissioner Frank Thiel and pathologist Professor Karl-Friedrich Boerne investigate in the case of a former detective-officer who was found dead in the street - wearing only a slip. Boerne has not found any signs of violence on the corpse of the woman. Commissioner Frank Thiel of homicide squad takes over nonetheless: For why did Katja Braun walk almost naked onto the street and then dies of a heart attack? For the detectives the victim is no stranger. Katja Braun was formerly a police officer. Now her death has parallels to a case in which she had once investigated herself. A prostitute was then strangled. A suspect was her pimp Heinz Kock, known for his walking disability in the scene as Heinz Hinkebein. Shortly before his arrest, he had gone into hiding. Has he now taken his revenge on the former Commissioner?Or is Katja Braun's death more due to her drinking problem? Thus, the relationship with her ex-husband Jörg Braun and her daughter Marie was obviously very tense. Meanwhile, a delegation of Russian police officers under the supervision of the police spokesman Michael Hausner attempts to familiarize themselves with the local investigation practices.
