Trump, the real estate tycoon who took advantage of the Japanese money that flooded into New York during the bubble economy to acquire the Empire State Building. The East German press secretary's gaffe that led to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the decision of the man in charge of the checkpoint. The film depicts the fates of three cities at the mercy of history.
