None was more feared in the 1070s than a certain mercenary commander named Roussel de Bailleul. His is an epic and tragic tale of greed, hubris and war. It also works as a nice precursor to the crusades and the other Norman campaigns elsewhere in Europe. (Which will be covered in upcoming videos) —I write stories.
