After twelve years of a civil war which left more than 500,000 dead, Syria is a ravaged country. At its head, Bashar al-Assad, one of the rare dictators not to have been swept away by the Arab Revolutions. His country is nothing more than a field of ruins. Everywhere, the same observation of desolation and destruction with 90% of the population living below the poverty line. Despite the bans, the teams from the magazine "Enquête Exclusive" filmed what remains of one of the once most prosperous countries in the Middle East.
