A boon for France, the second largest arms exporter behind the United States and ahead of Russia. Less known than the luxury industry or gastronomy, the arms sector is one of the engines of our economy. This industry brought France 30 billion euros in 2022, employs more than 200,000 people – as many as the automobile industry – and supports entire regions. Submarines, missiles and cannons are being built all over the country.
