Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the underselling but amazing ‘MadWorld’, a stylised 3D beat-em-up with high impact but cartoonish brutality only on a Nintendo console. You’re in Varrigan City which is transformed into a reality TV show called ‘Death-Watch’ and you play as a contestant who has other ideas. With its over-the-top violence, fun controls and humorous atmosphere, this overlooked title is certainly in the Top 20 of best Nintendo Wii games. I was originally going to present and conclude myself as a game show host, but my attempt at an American accent was so disastrous, it had to be cut. But I’m still able to say everything I want about this game and that’s the most important thing. Let the games begin…
