Angelli wakes up in the hospital and thanks Renato for going through the fire to save her, but he doesn't tell her that it was José Emilio. Rebeca is taken to prison, where she runs into La Escorpiona and she shows her who's in charge there. Adolfo informs Rebeca that José Emilio will divorce her, but Rebeca makes it clear that if she insists on her plan, she and Angelli will be in jail together. Gabriel is determined to get Lucas out of his way, so he decides to frame him for stealing one of his jewels from Fátima. Angelli assures Jimena that, even if José Emilio divorces Rebeca, she would never return to her arms.
