The Incredible story of British Airways flight 5390 took place on the 10th of June, 1990. The BAC 1-11 took off from Birmingham international airport in the UK with destination Malaga, Spain. During the climb out, when the aircraft passed 17300 feet, the forward left windshield suddenly detached itself and blew out with an explosive decompression as a result.
