Human drivers are increasingly distracted, very unsafe, and slow to react with limited vision and senses. Believe it or not, however, making self-driving autonomous cars isn't a walk in the park. After nearly 10 years since Google started its Waymo self-driving project, I take one of their autonomous taxis out on the road and talk about its quirks and features.
