A businessman comes to Ashfordly Hall with his wife to set up a shooting party. Ashfordly police investigate when the businessman is later shot. Meanwhile, Vernon has to go to hospital and reluctantly leaves his latest off road tourist enterprise in David's hands, which soon ends in disaster.
